TRAIL RUNNING 2021, TOWARDS THE RONDA – THE RETURN OF THE GHIBELLINE SPARROWHAWK

TRAIL RUNNING 2021, TOWARDS THE RONDA – THE RETURN OF THE GHIBELLINE SPARROWHAWK
Unexpected events and difficulties make what we often take for granted more desirable and require us to rise up and become tougher than before.

Unexpected events and difficulties make what we often take for granted more desirable and require us to rise up and become tougher than before.

This is the lesson that the NBS Team Ronda Ghibellina wants to transmit with its first team outing post lock down, on the occasion of the S’Ar Corre Arezzo, time trial started from Gragnone to Lignano: 3.7 km with almost 400 D+ run in the merciless heat of July in Arezzo.

La Ronda took to the field on Sunday 12 July for the second stage of the time trial organised by Ghibellino and FIDAL instructor Filippo Ballotti, promoter of the Revolution Runners project, in collaboration with Stefano Del Mastro, president of Atletica Sestini of Arezzo.

The overall was won by Alessandro Tartaglini with a time of 19’50”, the women’s victory instead went to Virginia Leonardi with 24’48”. Despite the good performance on this occasion we do not have Ghibellines on the podium, but the symbol that we wanted to pass is clear: The NBS Ronda Ghibellina has begun again to preside over its territories and looks straight to a goal …

The NBS Ronda Ghibellina Trail 2021, the UN-DECIMA knows what to do, the will is clear, the decision has been made and, barring any force majeure, the Ronda is sharpening its weapons to go and take back what is its, and to remember never to let down its guard it has set off again, going for a summit in the only way it knows how: running until its heart almost explodes!
